The Annual Ploughing Match was held on Sunday, January 27th 2008 on the lands of Corridan's, Ballysheen. Blessed with a fine day, large crowds turned out to view the ploughing competitions and the side-show events and then relaxed and enjoyed the music and wonderful hospitality provided by Mrs Eileen McCarthy and family. The Ploughing Society would like to thank all our sponsors and especially our main sponsor, Buckley's Agri, Tralee Rd., Listowel and anyone who helped in any way to make the event such a success.
